This song praises virtues and accomplishments of Jeongbuin Jang Gye-hyang from her childhood to her death at Seokbo, Yeongyang, at her age of 83. She was a noble woman and from the Andong Jang’s family in the late Joseon dynasty. Jeongbuin Jang boasted her intelligence at an early age while learning poetry and paintings and writings from Cheongpungja (淸風子) Jeong Yun-mok (鄭允穆). The reason why she wrote Hakbalsi (鶴髮詩) is explained in the piece. In addition, the song explains that she married to Seokgye Yi Si-myeong (李時明), gave birth to 6 sons and 2 daughters, and raised them as talented individuals through education.
